Souvenir Journal was published. The 25th Anniversary performance of the Voloshky Ukrainian Dance Troupe from Philadelphia received standing ovations from the crowded Grand Ballroom of the Best Western Hotel in Poughkeepsie, N. Y. Owners of the hotel said the event was the most unique and spectacular the hotel had ever had. Every member of Br. 95 went the extra mile to make this event the huge success it was. Color coverage previewing the event in the Poughkeepsie Journal also helped the sellout. This.wjys amazing since the previous week our members also had a booth at the Holiday arts and crafts fair at the YWCA. December - participated in the annual Holy Trinity Church Bazaar. 1 99 8 - January - BRANCH 95 TRANSFERRED TO UNWLA - NEW YORK CENTRAL REGIONAL COUN CIL. October - Oktoberfest Luncheon held for Kerhonkson Community in the Holy Trinity Hall. October - Branch sends 12 packages to Ukraine - 6 to Uzhorod and 6 to Chemivtsi. November - Branch actively participates in the effort to aid flood victims in the Transcarpathian Re gion of Ukraine, sending clothing and household items as well as collecting funds. A few kilometers outside of Lviv, this hospital does not receive funds from anyone except private visitors that have seen their needs. Each year, January through December, Branch 95 sells coffee and baked goods in the hall of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in payment for use of the hall for its monthly meetings.
