P eriodicals Postage Paid at New York, NY and at Additional mailing offices (USPS 414 - 660). Ukra in i an American Veterans N a tio n al Monument Remember and Honor Memorial Day is a federal holiday that falls each year on the last Monday in May. As we commemorate all of those who died in the military service for America, we must remember that thousands of Ukrainian American men and women served i n all the wars and co nflicts of the last two centuries, especially during World War II. The commemorations and observances are held at military cemeteries, graveyards and memorials not only in the United States but also at US Military cemeteries worldwide. On October 3, 2015, the UAV National Monument honoring men and women of Ukrain- ian ancestry who served in the US Armed Forces was dedicated at St. Andrew Cemetery in South Bound Brook, N.J. This year, Memorial Day falls on May 25. Special services usually start at 11 a.m. - Anna Krawczuk, UAV Past National Commander
