UNWLA Highlights The E aster bells shall reunite in prayer all Ukrainian community The great family of the Ukrainian National W om en’s League of A m er ica shall soon gather together at the table with blessed paska and join in partaking of the blessed egg and m utual wishes of better tomorrow. Let us then likewise remember those our sisters and brothers wh-o are in red prisons, in concentration camps, and at slave labor who can only secretly welcome the Resurrection of Christ that may still kindle a ray of hope in their downtrodden hearts. The campaign to gain new members for the Branches of the U k rainian National W omen’s League has been started. The Regional Councils have m arked their plans for the action. Each of them wishes to find the best way to reach the goal, which means 500 new members for every Regional Council, or as many for each Branch as possible until the next Convention of our Organization. We wish to remind the officers of the Branches that some of them are forgetting their duties tow ard the Organization which are estab lished by the By-laws and the Conventions of UNW LA. Every Branch, its officers as well as its members, should understand these duties and endeavor to lend their support to their Central Office. We call attention to the subscribers for OUR L IFE that they must notify the office in time whenever they are moving and thus chang ing their address. It happens frequently that a copy of an issue of OUR LIFE, when sent to an old address, is lost, destroyed, or that our office is obliged to pay the return postage. Yet ail this trouble would be avoided if every subscriber would let us know in advance of the change of address. The Branches, their governing bodies and the members, should never forget the Press Fund of OUR LIFE. It is imperative to re member that the m anagem ent cannot cope w ith the continually grow ing prices of m aterials while the income of the magazine is lagging behind. Our readers may note that lately even large American m aga zines, w ith wide circulation and well-paid advertisem ents, had been forced out of existence just on account of grow ing prices of m aterials. Hence let us constantly persist in rem em bering the Press Fund of OUR L IF E ! NEW YORK, N. Y.
