НАШЕ ЖИТТЯ • Березень-Квітень 2026 23 ДІЯЛЬНІСТЬ ВІДДІЛІВ І ЧЛЕНКИНЬ • BRANCH & MEMBER NEWS Donor: Beverly Feldman Winner: Oksana Piaseckyj Donor: Olya Czerkas Winner: Roxanne Hills Donor: Dora Horbachevsky Winner: Maria Szpak Donor: Lisa Ann Lepak Winner: Branch 108 The first camp supported by our fundraiser was held from August 4 to August 16, 2025, in Yarem - che, Ukraine. Father Prokopets organized and was the administrator of this summer camp specifically for orphaned children. Due to the generous sup - port, our fundraising goal was reached and exceed - ed, allowing for a second camp to be funded. We know that the children attending these two camps will have the positive experiences that they desper - ately need. To encourage participation and make the fund - raising event interesting, donors were automatical - ly entered in a prize drawing. The prizes were gen - erously donated by Members-at-Large and friends. Andrea Kulish Wilhelm donated a beautiful Ukraini - an book along with other items. Catherine Krucylak painted two exquisite pysanky on goose eggs. Lisa Lepak donated a colorful Ukrainian canvas tote and other items. A uniquely engraved Ukrainian wood kasetka was donated by Dora Horbachevsky. Olya Czerkas donated a print of her original silk paint - ing Pysanka . Beverly Feldman made and donated a beautiful sunflower quilt. The donations highlight - ed our Ukrainian culture. The fundraiser and this Zoom meeting received positive feedback. Alisa’s reading of the poem Rid - na Mova and Marc’s singing of Ridna Maty Moya reminded us about the amazing talents children have and the importance of supporting them. The bandura playing and singing by Zenovia reminded us about the traditions that we hold dear. Maria’s heart-touching piano piece emitted hope for the fu - ture. Most importantly, the slide show presented by Elizabeth Buniak showed many smiling faces of chil - dren experiencing summer camp. Your generous support of this fundraiser has al - lowed many children to experience the joys of sum - mer camp. Thank you for being part of this impor - tant Members-at-Large fundraising event. Please know that YOU have brought a smile to a child! Thank you!
