Happy New Year 2026 to our sponsors and benefac - tors of the UNWLA Scholarship Program. We sincere - ly thank you for supporting our students, especially those who study and live in Ukraine. Your generosity gives them hope and opens up new opportunities for a better life. Scholarship Update This year, the Scholarship Program is fulfilling 540 re - quests — 110 more than last year — including 230 new applications , 120 replacements for non-return - ing students, and 110 from overall program growth. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors and bene - factors, whose generosity allows us to continue sup - porting students in Ukraine. To meet current needs, we are actively seeking additional sponsors to help fund the 230 new scholarship applications . We are pleased to welcome Myroslawa Cahn (Branch 135) and Irene Krawczuk (Branch 98) to the UNWLA Scholarship Standing Committee . Both My - roslawa and Irene have dedicated many hours over the past year working in the Scholarship Office, and we sincerely thank them for their commitment and service. We extend our sincere thanks to the Scholarship Standing Committee members, Scholarship Office volunteers, and Myron Krawczuk, our IT support spe - cialist, for their invaluable service. Special apprecia - tion goes to Luba Bilowchtchuk for her ongoing dedi - cation to the Scholarship Program.
