Participants, including man y UNWLA members, arrived in private cars and by bus. Among those attending were 23 students from Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic School , accompanied by three teachers: Iryna Svytka, Daria Krywyj Hreha , and Oksana Zavadenko , UNA activists , officers of the Detroit branch of UCCA ; a member of the Ukr ainian Cultural Center board , the editors of two local Ukrain- ian newspapers, a m ember of Selfreliance Credit Union , and representatives from the Ukrainian American Medical Foundation and the UACC , as well as many Ukrainian Americans from Livonia , the Lansing area, Ann Arbor , Sterling Heights, Brighton , Rochester , Macomb Township , O xford , Beverly Hills , and H amtramck .
