T h e q u estio n a rises now, w ould su ch m a g a zin es be popular ? W ho would read and b u y th e m so th a t th e y w ould b ecom e s e lf s u s ta in in g and p ro fita b le? W h ile w e are on th e su b je c t o f w om en ’s m a g a z in es w e can n ot overlook w om en ’s r e sp o n sib ility fo r p er p e tu a tin g t h is s ta te o f a f fa ir s. A ft e r all, it is th e w om en w h o read th em , and a s con su m ers sh ould d ic ta te th e ir ow n te rm s, w h a t and h o w so m e th in g sh ould be w r itte n fo r her.
