6 OUR LIFE • September-October 2022 БЛАГОДІЙНІСТЬ • GIVING Стипендійна Акція Союзу Українок Америки Ukrainian National Women’s League of America, Inc. The academic year in Brazil ends in December. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, we were able to award scholar - ships to eligible students. In Ukraine, student payments resumed in April based on confirmation that the students were still in Ukraine. Due to the difficulties associated with locating students, we are still paying out students for the 2021-2022 school year. The new academic year in Ukraine started in September, and we expect to receive documents for the new school year soon.
