Each of these Soyuzianky brings her own unique talents, skills, experiences, and expectations to the organization, further enriching our diverse and dynamic sisterhood. A warm welcome to all our new members! WELCOME TO OUR NEW MEMBERS! Valentyna Tabaka, UNWLA 2nd VP – Membership (and Wound Care Department Manager at the Jersey City Medical Center), was instrumental in negotiating the lowest possible prices for these items, as well as obtaining generous donations from manufacturers 3M/KCI (which donated 80 VIA VACs), Smith & Neph - ews, and Genadyne. The total market value of the items purchased and donated was $18 million! On behalf of all the doctors and patients who are benefiting from these medical devices, our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this campaign. Your generosity has saved the lives of many of our brave fellow Ukrainians! Wounded patients being treated with donated medical devices. Several external fixators are used to treat broken bones in a wounded patient’s shoulder and arm.
