During dessert, guests enjoyed Detroit’s own Soloveyky singing a medley of beautiful Ukrainian songs from their CD “ Зачарована Десна ” (Enchanted Desna) . Natalka Maruszczak is part of the trio, and Olya Solovey (Br . 58) is its musical director. The festivities concluded with a raffle of eight aquatic floral centerpieces, each containing a live goldfish. The lucky winners took home goldfish that were “christened” Odarka, Natalka, Slava, Natalya, Anna Maria, et c. We are grateful to the Detroit Regional Council and guests for making this a memorable event and to the Anniversary Planning Committee and all Br. 115 members for their dedication, participation, and creative spirit.
