Job Overview
The UNWLA is looking for an energetic Office Administrator to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the UNWLA. Individuals must be fluent in both Ukrainian and English. As the first point of contact for members, vendors, and the general public, the Office Administrator must have excellent people skills as he/she sets the image of the organization.
This is a part-time paid position, working virtually from home. Working hours are from 12 pm to 4 PM Eastern Time (Monday through Friday)
Responsibilities
- Manage UNWLA’s membership database
- Manage annual Branch and Regional Council reporting process
- Maintain the Our Life magazine mailing list
- Maintain all office files/documentation
- Schedule meetings and events when requested
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (emails, letters, packages, etc.)
- Compose letters and reports as requested
- Record checks/cash received and make bank deposits
- Maintain and order office supplies as needed
- Manage the printing and distribution of award certificates every three years in conjunction with the UNWLA Convention
- Send out Welcome Packet to new UNWLA members
- Manage the maintenance of all office equipment
Qualifications
- Associate degree in business, administration, or a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in office management
- Strong English and Ukrainian communication skills (written and oral)
- Knowledge of the UNWLA organization and its structure
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software (Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suites
