Introducing the UNWLA Video History Project: Preserving Our Legacy One Voice at a Time

In an era when digital content drives engagement and storytelling, traditional paper and scanned documents often fall short of making a lasting impact. To ensure the rich legacy of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America endures for generations, we are proud to launch the UNWLA Video History Project — a nationwide effort to record and preserve video interviews with senior members from across the United States.

This initiative is more than a historical archive; it’s a celebration of the voices, experiences, and enduring inspiration of the extraordinary women who have shaped our organization over the past century.

If you know a member in your branch whose story should be recorded and shared, we invite you to participate:

Please note: Before conducting any interviews, reach out to Kateryna Voinova at video.history@unwla.org to discuss video requirements and receive recording guidelines.

Thank you for your continued commitment to honoring our past.
Together, we’re building a living legacy — one story, one voice at a time.
