At the initiative of the UNWLA, the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) launched a Women’s Studies program in September 2012.

As of September 2018, the lectureship became the UNWLA’s “Women’s Studies Center” which now offers graduate degrees in Women’s Studies.

Public lectures and conferences are an integral part of this academic project.
