UNWLA has partnered with the ENGin initiative to help them help more Ukrainians who are striving to perfect their English.
What is ENGin?
ENGin is a non-profit organization that connects English-speaking volunteers with motivated Ukrainians for online speaking practice and cross-cultural exchange. ENGin is looking for native English speakers who are ready to volunteer a couple of hours a week to meet online with Ukrainians and help them practice and improve their English.
How does it work?
ENGin pairs Ukrainians with volunteers from around the world to conduct weekly online speaking sessions. They screen every learner and volunteer to ensure their fit for the program and provide training and orientation.
Participants are matched 1-on-1 based on preferences, interests, and availability to ensure an effective and mutually enjoyable communication experience. After a match is made, ENGin supports learners and volunteers throughout their participation in the program with tips, resources, and problem resolution.
We invite you to learn more about ENGin and volunteer if you have the time and desire. Your time and attention has the potential to make a great impact in someone’s life.
