XXXIІI Конвенція СУА 89 • Reviewed documents, minutes, and information from various sources to organize a list of funds spent on various UNWLA initiatives, particularly medical equipment. This information was used for both the 2022 annual report and as the basis of fundraising letters sent to potential donors. • Recruited new members as follow-up to the “Contact Us” forms on our website. • Made numerous calls and sent emails to elected officials in Congress to advocate for support for Ukraine and other congressional actions. • Reviewed list of Ukrainian Global Scholars; interviewed four to assist in the area of fundraising. Worked with one Global Scholar to create a spreadsheet of potential sponsors; these 60 corporations received solicitation letters from UNWLA. • Disseminated information for various Holodomor and other such events to local newspapers and social media. • Arranged for Dzvinka Wolynetz exhibit “Ukrainian Children Lost to War” to be presented during a Branch 134 event. • Attended all meetings of the National Executive Committee, National Finance Committee, National Board, Convention Committee and Convention Book Committee. The National Executive met weekly during the first six months after the escalation of russia’s war in February 2022, then monthly meetings resumed. While this term’s National Board served in very trying times due to the war in Ukraine, members were able to bond on many issues as we prayed, cried, and did everything we could to support Ukraine so that Ukraine ultimately is victorious. To my sister National Executive Committee members, National Board members and the many, many Soyuzianky with whom I have interacted during these past three years, I am truly grateful for having had the opportunity to work with each of you. I salute your efforts and am richer for knowing all of you and wish UNWLA continued successes as we continue the rich traditions of our ancestors into the next century! СЛАВА УКРАЇНІ! ДО ПЕРЕМОГИ!
