XXXIІI Конвенція СУА 67 Convention Preparation • Compiled all resolutions that were voted in at the XXXII Convention in June 2021 and submitted them to Our Life . • Worked with our designer to produce hramoty for the XXXIII Convention. • Prepared an overview of changes to the UNWLA Bylaws for presentation at the XXXIII Convention. • Continue to work with Standing Committee Chairs to develop resolutions for the XXXIII Convention and review any resolutions received from Branches and Regional Councils. Position Descriptions, Policies and Procedures, Forms • Led the effort by the National Executive to review and update the organization’s Position Descriptions, as well as Policies and Procedures. These documents, UNWLA Bylaws, various reporting forms, and various templates are available to all members through the website’ s Member Portal. • Worked with the Archives Chair to create a new policy document: “UNWLA Physical Archives,” and worked on several other archives-related procedures. I also created a Google Form to collect information about the volume of archival material maintained by Branches and Regional Councils. • Modified the “Creating a New Branch” policy and added a new form “Regional Council Endorsement.” • Created Advocacy Chair position descriptions for Standing Committees, Regional Councils, and Branches representatives to work with National Advocacy Chair. • Created/modified position descriptions for Public Relations, Press, and Social Media at the Branch level. • Created position descriptions for the Audit Committee at the National, Regional, and Branch levels. • Wrote position descriptions for Marketing Volunteer and Fundraising Specialist. • Modified policy documents for Branch and Regional audit process. • Worked with Olya Czerkas to finalize the MAL Fundraising Policy, create additional forms in fillable format, and review Renata Zajac’s MAL financial report spreadsheet template. Upon approval by the National Board, these documents will be uploaded to the Member Portal. • Developed the UNWLA Travel and Expense Reimbursement policy. • Developed a new UNWLA еmail Policy, which requires that all UNWLA business be conducted using a UNWLA email address. • Wrote and sent out instructions for creating a UNWLA email signature. • Wrote a position description for the UNWLA Office Administrator position, and posted the description on Indeed.com, the UNWLA website, and UNWLA Facebook page. Sent to members of the National Board for their information. Advertised the position in The Ukrainian Weekly , Svoboda , Meest , and Nova Hazeta . Twenty candidates submitted resumes. • Currently working with a student intern on the translation of all UNWLA Policies and Procedures, and Position Descriptions into Ukrainian. Position Descriptions (Branch, Regional, and National) have been translated, and she is now working on Branch Policies and Procedures. Interviews Conducted the following interviews: • As a member of the search committee, interviewed eight candidates for the UNWLA Office Administrator position. • Management of volunteers: received numerous requests from volunteers via our website and held interviews to determine how volunteers could help the UNWLA. • Together with Natalia Pawlenko and Olenka Krupa, participated in interviewing three candidates for the position of Communications Coordinator and participated in making a final selection. • Reviewed the list of Ukrainian Global Scholars applying for summer internships in the area of culture. Together with Oksana Piaseckyj, Chair, UNWLA Cultural Affairs Standing Committee, reviewed three candidates and selected one.
