XXXIІI Конвенція СУА 33 Welcome to the UNWLA XXXIII National Convention as we gather on the very doorstep of our esteemed organization’s 100th anniversary! UNWLA has long been an organization that responds to the particular needs of Ukraina many times throughout history. However, our voices are also heard here in America as together we weave a vibrant tapestry that is recognized, respected and trusted. We have moved forward through many challenging times during the past century because we work with respect for one another and are ready to partner with those who respect us. We have not been able to meet in person since 2017, have not been able to gather to share our accomplishments, share our pride of being UNWLA members, nor fondly remember the fortitude of our organization’s pioneers. However, fortunately, we are here now, and I extend my warm greetings to each of you. I sincerely hope that this Convention offers all of you the opportunity to learn more about the UNWLA, but also to enjoy thoroughly the events and program that have been planned for you by the Convention Committee. This XXXIII Convention takes place more than two years since the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraina and I am sure that we can all appreciate an infusion of positive energy at this time. I commend President Natalia Pawlenko and the UNWLA leadership for consistently raising awareness of the ongoing devastation resulting from russia’s invasion of Ukraina , as well as for UNWLA’s very commendable humanitarian aid efforts. None of this would be possible without the dedication of each and every Branch member, as well as of those in the growing pool of Members-at-Large. Please join us as we lovingly move towards UNWLA’s 100th anniversary! We will use this special anniversary to celebrate our milestones, honor our founders, support our homeland and those who defend her sovereignty – joining together with our UNWLA family throughout America to celebrate our successes and pave the way for the next 100 years! MAY GOD CONTINUE TO GUIDE US AND OUR ACTIVITIES MOVING FORWARD. MAY HE BLESS THE NEWLY ELECTED LEADERSHIP OF THE UNWLA !
