XXXIІI Конвенція СУА 218 Since 2022, our Branch has seen a remarkable transformation. We recognized the increasing need to support Ukraine during these challenging times, and we set out to expand our membership. By 2024, our membership has more than doubled, now proudly standing at 49 members. This significant growth is thanks to the dedication and hard work of many talented young women who joined our sisterhood. Their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives have been instrumental in our success, working hand-in-hand with our longtime members. This infusion of new energy has greatly enhanced our fundraising capabilities. During the past three years, Branch 107 has raised more than $70,000, funds that were allocated to support various UNWLA initiatives critical to the support of Ukraine. Our fundraising activities, such as the annual Ukrainian picnic and Ukrainian Christmas in Woodside, California, have been pivotal in achieving these milestones. In addition to fundraising, Branch 107 has actively engaged in cultural promotion and community outreach by organizing events such as Ukrainian caroling events, poetry readings, Den’ Vyshyvanky , pysanky workshops, as well as participating in many multicultural festivals, thereby increasing awareness about our heritage and the UNWLA’s mission. Recently, our efforts extended further with the organization of the “Women in Art” exhibit to honor local Ukrainian-American artists. We are immensely proud of the unity and hard work that have elevated Branch 107 to new heights. As we look to the future, we remain committed to supporting Ukraine and promoting our rich cultural heritage. Together, we are stronger. Together, we are UNWLA Branch 107!
