XXXIІI Конвенція СУА 192 For 50 years, members of Branch 75 have devotedly and tirelessly shared their passions, talents, and energies in alignment with the mission of the UNWLA to promote educational and cultural efforts, as well as provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainians throughout the world. During the past three years, in this time of russia’s war against Ukraine, under the leadership of Branch Presidents Zoryana Kovbasniuk, Irena Sawchyn Doll and Margaret Nycz, our Branch met the various challenges presented to us with vigor, dedication, diligence, and successfully implemented projects in keeping with the UNWLA four pillars of activity. EDUCATE Branch 75 is committed to presenting to both Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian audiences the history of the Holodomor. Since the UNWLA XXXII National Convention, we have sponsored several events with that specific goal in mind. In 2021, the Branch hosted an event titled “What We Didn’t Know: New Insights into the Holodomor and Jewish-Ukrainian Relations.” The guest speaker was Holodomor expert Prof. Lubomyr Luciuk of the Royal Military College of Canada.
