XXXIІI Конвенція СУА 157 UNWLA BRANCH 10 – PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA PATRONESS LESIA UKRAINKA Philadelphia Center City War Photo Exhibit, December 1, 2022 (From left): Marianna Tretiak (MAL), Nataliia Gouz, Mariana Mokritski, Viktoria Kondratova, Iryna Koval, Solomiia Kobuta, Yuliya Penchak, Roxolana Half, Oksana Homa, Ivanna Plachta Branch 10 was established in Philadelphia in 1953. During this difficult time, Branch 10 experienced another significant infusion of new ideas and womanpower by recruiting new members. Branch 10 is also very proud to partner with Soyuz Ukrainok in Kalush, Ukraine, which received the Golden Heart Medal from President Zelenskiy in recogni- tion of their significant and highly transparent efforts in providing humanitarian aid to Ukrainian defenders, as well as to civilians. Recognizing their fundraising success in the spring and summer of 2022 through local bazaars, fairs, festi- vals, as well as through social media, the Branch became very motivated to make a powerful difference, and use our resources and connections to support Ukrainians impacted by war in a very grassroots effort. The Branch’s fundraising efforts rely heavily on the use of social media; it was very important to have control
