29 НАШЕ ЖИТТЯ • Червень 2022 was overwhelmingly positive, with many comments about how useful the information was. The meeting was recorded and can be viewed at any time on the UNWLA website at https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=vTnfT - Tymvz4. New Online Reports The second tutorial, which focused on using the new online electronic reporting forms for Branches and Regional Councils, took place January 29 and was repeated on January 30, 2022. This project was initiated two years ago to move away from un - wieldy paper-based reports and streamline the reporting process. UNWLA President Natalie Pawlen - ko welcomed the almost 90 attendees and commended all the presidents, treasurers, and officers who so generously com - mitted their time as volunteers for the UNWLA. Moderator Irena Sawchyn Doll introduced the ben - efits of the online reports and the timeline for rollout and submis - sion for 2022. The new reports are completed by filling out an online questionnaire in a multiple-choice format, with some free-response questions. The reports are submit - ted by the Branch president and Regional Council president, who also incorporate data from the respective Standing Chairs. There was great interest in the new digital treasurer’s report, which was introduced by Of - ficer-at-Large Oksana Lodziuk Krywulych. The report comes as an Excel spreadsheet and will be emailed to Branch presidents at the beginning of every February, to be filled in by the Branch/ RC treasurer. Nadia and Oksana were listed as the go-to support resources for any questions that might arise while the forms were being completed. All the reports were due March 15. Again, the response from partic - ipants was very positive. They appreciated not only the content but also the direct interaction with members of the Executive Committee. Additional training sessions were being planned, especially one on fundraising – the most requested topic. The plan for additional ses - sions has been scaled back due, understandably, to the resources that have been diverted to sup - porting UNWLA war initiatives. Even though the training ses - sions are “on hold” for now, the members of the UNWLA Board offer their continuing support to Branch and RC presidents and of - ficers, and are more than willing to answer questions directly. The members of the UNWLA Board sincerely hope that this type of training and demonstra - tion of support and resources will help current presidents and officers and encourage more members to step up to taking leadership roles in the UNWLA.
