On Sunday, November 6, 2005, the Detroit Region of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America celebrated a special and rather re markable event. A Jubilee Luncheon, hosted at the newly renovated Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren, Michigan, was held to commemorate three significant milestones: the 80th Anniversary of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America, the 70th Anniversary of the Detroit Regional Council of UNWLA, and the 60th Anniversary of the UNWLA's magazine, Our Life. Each of these anniversaries was auspicious in its own right— celebrated together they represented something much greater than the sum of its parts and provided a wonderful opportunity to bring UNWLA members and the community together for a truly momentous occasion. A special Jubilee Committee spearheaded by Maria Zarycky-Cherviovsky was formed. The committee comprised 20 members and represented the .11 active UNWLA branches in the Detroit area. From the start, committee members worked enthusiastically to organize an event that would properly recognize the three special milestones. Somewhere along the way, an unofficial title for the event was adopted, and it became known simply as "80/70/60". The day of the Jubilee, guests from the local Detroit Ukrainian community joined UNWLA members at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, gather ing around tables beautifully decorated by Annette Stadnyk and Helen Palmer. An exhibit of vintage photos, collected by Anna Macielinski, reflected the history of the UNWLA in Detroit and was complemented by a display of Our Life issues, organized by Stefania Korol and Daria Koniuch, that highlighted memorable events. Tastefully ar ranged for easy viewing were works by renowned Ukrainian artists from Detroit, Canada, and Ukraine: Halyna Cisaruk, Jarema Kozak, Volody-
