UNWLA has acquired the versatile STERIVAP HP Steam Sterilizer for the Center for Children’s Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery (Центр дитячої кардіології та кардіохірургії МОЗ України). This center, part of the extensive Okhmatdyt medical infrastructure that has been caring for children with the most challenging health conditions, was severely damaged by a Russian missile on July 8, 2024.
The hospital team specifically requested this advanced steam sterilizer, which will not only replace the lost equipment but also provide enhanced functionality and ease of daily use.
The STERIVAP HP universal steam sterilizer series is designed for a range of sterilization needs in medical, pharmaceutical, and laboratory settings, with a chamber capacity from 140 to 1280 liters. This equipment sterilizes medical instruments, textiles, rubber, plastic materials, porous materials, and solutions. It stands out for its advanced technical features, optimized resource efficiency, and ease of maintenance.

- Compliance & Standards: STERIVAP HP meets various international and Ukrainian standards, including:
- EN285:2015 for large steam sterilizers,
- EN ISO 17665-1:2014 for moist heat sterilization processes,
- EN 61010 series for safety in electrical equipment.
- Advanced Control: The device uses a large touchscreen for user-friendly operation. It offers 20 standard sterilization programs with customization options via chip cards. It can connect to information networks for remote management.
- Innovative Design:
- Constructed with stainless steel, including the AISI 316L quality chamber and heating jacket.
- Two-stage vacuum pump, a color touchscreen, dual-processor control (Master and Slave), and dual sensors for absolute pressure and temperature to ensure precision.
- Energy-efficient insulation reduces thermal loss, and a built-in water-saving device lowers operational costs.
- Temperature Range: Operates at 105-134°C, suitable for various sterilization needs.
- Programs: Includes standard cycles for universal sterilization, rubber, and instruments, as well as specialized programs for prions, disinfection, and solution sterilization. Additional test programs (e.g., Bowie-Dick and vacuum tests) are integrated for safety checks.
- Automation: The system includes automatic morning start-up with preheating and vacuum testing, minimizing the need for operator intervention.
