October 7, 2019 – A container carrying over $400,000 in medical supplies was delivered to Ohmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Lviv, Ukraine on Friday, October 4th. The supplies were made possible by a joint project of Project Cure, Support Hospitals in Ukraine, Meest and the UNWLA.   The UNWLA paid for the transportation and delivery costs and our representative in Ukraine, Mariya Furtak, met the shipment when it arrived.

On October 7 the Department of Health held a briefing at which they expressed gratitude to Support Hospitals in Ukraine for their generous donation of medical supplies to the Lviv Children’s Hospital and to the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America for donating the funds to transport the equipment. The medical supplies and equipment included EKG and other diagnostic equipment, surgical materials, specialty beds, and other supplies.

Medical supplies were also delivered to a children’s hospital in Zhtomyr.  You can read more about this at the following link.
