On March 28, 2019, the UNWLA announced a new project – The Spiritual Rebirth of Ukraine Fund which will be providing financial support to two theological seminaries: the Kyiv Three Saints Theological Seminary of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the Ukrainian Orthodox Volyn Orthodox Theological Academy.

These two institutions are focusing on the training of future priests who will take their spiritual mission into the eastern regions of Ukraine to encourage and facilitate a spiritual rebirth, especially in this time of war and unrest in the nation.

The Spiritual Rebirth of Ukraine Fund will help defray the costs associated with these seminarians’ studies. Financial support by the UNWLA goes toward student tuition and classroom equipment, such as projectors. All funds raised for this endeavor will be equally divided between the two institutions.

The UNWLA has just given $5,000 to the Ukrainian Orthodox Volyn Orthodox Theological Academy and has received a heartfelt thank you from the Academy.
