This summer, more than 400 sets of women’s summer military uniforms funded by the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America were sent to Ukrainian women serving on the frontlines through UNWLA’s ongoing partnership with Zemliachky.
Since 2022, Zemliachky has been responding to individual requests from women in Ukraine’s Defense Forces, providing uniforms and essential gear designed specifically for women. Each summer set includes tactical pants, a combat shirt, T-shirt, fleece, and, when needed, a windbreaker.
With more than 76,500 women currently serving in Ukraine’s Defense Forces, access to properly designed uniforms is an important part of ensuring they can perform their duties safely and effectively.
For more than a century, UNWLA has stood in support of Ukrainian women. Today, together with our partners and donors, we continue that commitment by helping provide women defending Ukraine with the equipment they need.
