The Ukrainian National Women’s League of America is often described as a network of dedicated branches working in communities across the United States. The newly released 2025 Branch Impact Report demonstrates just how much can be accomplished when our Branches work together toward a common mission.
With an extraordinary 97% participation rate, 56 Branches reported their activities and achievements for 2025. Together, we organized 429 educational and cultural events, including 214 programs promoted beyond the Ukrainian community, helping to share Ukrainian culture and heritage with wider audiences. Advocacy efforts remained strong, with 175 activities ranging from public rallies and letter-writing campaigns to meetings with elected officials.
UNWLA Branches also continued their longstanding commitment to humanitarian assistance by supporting national initiatives and carrying out 104 local humanitarian projects. Through UNWLA’s Scholarship Program, 196 students received educational support, while Branches helped place Ukrainian books in libraries across the country.
Membership grew to 1,509 members, fundraising goals were exceeded, and important historical records were preserved for future generations.
Most importantly, the report tells a larger story: the power of 56 UNWLA Branches working together as one organization. We invite all members to explore the full 2025 Annual Report and learn more about UNWLA’s collective impact.
