«ЖІНОЧИЙ СВІТ» 27 -The Ukrainian Оцеєп------- MISS OLGA TYMOCHKO Miss Olga Tymochko won the title of “Ukraine” in a beauty contest held recently at the Con- vention Hall in Detroit, Michigan, Miss Tymochko is well acquainted with Ukrainian songs and dances, having completed Mr. Avramen- Ко'я course in dancing and being at present a member of the Uk- rainian Choir under the direction of Mr. Sorochynsky. Although Miss Tymochko gra- duated from the High School of Commeree and is now a steno- grapher, that type of work is not her main interest. She likes dra- ma and has gained prominence MY BEST GIRL through her work in the Theatre Guild of the International In- stitute. “Zinochy Svit” wishes to ex- end to Miss Tymoehko its hear- tiest congratulations upon her re- ceiving the jdistinct honor of “Miss Ukraine” and hopes that she may have continued success in the dramatic field.
