150 ХХ Х І I Конвенція СУА UNWLA members from New Jersey at The Ukrainian Museum during the first “TUM Appreciates the UNWLA ” event. Encourage branch and individual membership in The Ukrainian Museum While I have been a member of The Ukrainian Museum (TUM) Board of Trustees since 2015, my new role as Arts and Museum Chair required a fresh set of activities to promote and encourage UNWLA support of TUM. Consequently, together with the TUM Membership Com mittee, we initiated a series of “TUM Appreciates the UNWLA” days. The first group to be invited consisted of all the New Jersey branches that were treated to an exclusive tour of the current exhibits, and a special reception. The vision was that each year , a new group would be invited and recognized by the TUM. Unfortunately, the pandemic in 2020 put a halt to these celebratory days . TUM look s forward to being able to re - initiate them. Articles about planned and ongoing exhibits at TUM were also written and published in Our Life magazine over the course of the past two years. Participate in The Ukrainian Museum Board of Trustees In addition to being an active member of the TUM Membership Committee and actively seeking ways to solicit new members to TUM, I have been an active member of the TUM Outreach Committee that sponsored the very successful TUM Fundraising Gala in 2020. Other activities include d active participation in the Strategic Planning Committee and chairing the Public Relations Committee. I have served as the Secretary for two TUM Annual Membership meetings and continue to participate actively in all Board of Trustee meetings. It has been my privilege to serve as the Arts and Museum Chair for these past thr ee years. I wish the incoming Arts and Museum C hair the greatest of success!
