Cr eated and/or posted UNWLA greetings for religious holidays, Ukrainian, and American holidays such as: Ukrainian Independence Day, Fourth of July, Veterans Day, Memorial Day, New Year, and many others. Shared Christmas and Easter greetings created by UNWLA Vice President for Public Relations and by our partners (listed above). Emphasized commemoration of the Holodomor by posting posts from commemorative activities and historical archives. Produced event advertising for Facebook and our new website. Worked w ith branches to post the announcements on branch Facebook pages. Social Media Liaison to Branches and Regional Councils Provided guidance, technical support, and “hands on” assistance to those responsible for social media at branches and Regional Councils . Wrote and distributed detailed guidelines to Regional Council and branch presidents to assist their Facebook administrators in setting up individual Facebook pages for branches and Regional Councils. To maintain brand consistency, ensured proper use of t he UNWLA logo on Facebook pages. Screenshot of the cover page of redesigned UNWLA website Project Manager of the UNWLA Website: unwla.org A committee to develop a new UNWLA website, composed of the UNWLA President and several National Board members, was established soon after the 2017 Convention. This committee assumed the monumental task of creating an entirely new UNWLA website. The commit tee met weekly for more than a year to move this project forward. As project manager for Phase II of the new website, I worked with a local website designer, on a daily basis, to complete the redesign, transfer the website to a new user - friendly platform, and to add significant improvements to the website. Among the enhancements to the website are: An About Us section that contains a historical record of UNWLA accomplishments through the decades. The About Us section also lists the members of the UN WLA National Board and their contact information.
