140 ХХ Х І I Конвенція СУА Even during COVID - 19 restrictions, we take turns in the office so that scholarship funds can be sent out in a timely manner to all pupils and students und er our care in Ukraine. W e are aware that there is a big need for this assistance, and not only due to the virus. Oryna Sokulska Guests in our office have included Soyuz Ukrainok of Ukraine Vice President Oryna Sokulska. Oryna visited our office after the XXXI C onven tion and brought with her the many beautiful gifts from pupils and students that she had recommended to our program. Oryna, please convey our thanks to all of them for the lovely presents! Rev. Stepan Sus, a military c haplain in Ukraine, visit ed our office on August 2, 2016. Since his visit , Rev. Sus was ordained a bishop of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, and at age 38, became the youngest bishop of t he Catholic Church worldwide! Congratulations Bishop Stus and May God Bless! Rev. Stepan Sus with Nadia Jaworiw Despite various challenges and o bstacles, including the war in the e astern regions of Ukraine, our work continues , because we understand that for the students, the scholarships are very important and we are committed to delivering the funds to them in a timely manner. We receive many letters from the scholarship recipients in which they thank us and share their lives and reality with us . Especially poignant are those who write us who have been orphaned because of the war. Others write that they turn bravely to their studies so that someday they may help their h omeland.
