ХХ Х II Конвенція СУА 139 Over the course of 54 years, over five thousand scholarship s tudents became graduates of various schools and universities and became professionals in t he countries in which they live . We attribute this successful achievement to our sponsors and supporters of the Scholarship Program who, in this way, give us the oppo rtunity and the means to send scholarships to “their” students. After the convention, our work continues as usual. Members of the UNWLA Scholarship Committee faithfully come to the office and take turns completing the necessary office paperwork, chores, a nd other tasks. The war in Ukraine has disturbed all of us and we continue to worry . We know that new military schools have been established as preparatory schools for military academies. Many of our scholarship recipients are children of soldiers and ATO heroes. In this report period, the UNWLA Scholarship/Children - Student Sponsorship Program has provided 1 , 190 scholarships in the sum of $302,545.00 US dollars , distributed as follows: Country Scholarships awarded Sum designated Brazil 153 $ 59,580.00 Germany 1 $ 300.00 Poland 4 $ 1,000.00 USA 1 $ 300.00 Ukraine 1031 $ 241,365.00 ___________________________________________________ ___ Total 1190 $3 02,545.00 Over the course of the past four years, 295 students finished their chosen programs in high schools and/or trade schools, universities, lyceums, academies.
