ХХ Х II Конвенція СУА 123 Publications • Obtained cost estimates for re design and print ing of Our Life with firm in Canada. • Provided Executive Committee with a cost comparison between the Canadian firm and Computoprint , a New Jersey - based firm, indicating the hig her quality and reduced expenses f rom the Canadian firm. • Worked on the redesign of Our Life with editors and the Canadian firm to produce the September, October a nd November issues of Our Life. The first redesigned issue was published in September. • Worked with new editor - in - chief on the tr ansition to developing future issues of Our Life . • Establishe d new editorial board composed of all members of the Standing Committee chairs. Met with new editorial board to explain board’s role and responsibilities. B oard now meets monthly with the new editor - in - chief, Romana Labrosse, to plan future issues of Our Life . • Worked with d esigners in Ukraine to develop the cover for the new English language UNWLA history book, “ UNWLA 1925 - 2020: Women’s Community, Citizenship , and Commitment in the Ukrainian Diaspora” authored by Marta Kichorowska Kebalo. Organizational • A ttended all meetings of the Executive C ommittee. • Attended three National Board meetings during which I made a presentation about the functions of public re lations, presented the UNWLA Brand Book, and provided an update on UNWLA Policies and Procedures , and the Position Descriptions. To serve as the UNWLA 3rd Vice President was an honor and a privile ge. I express my sincere gratitude to Marianna Zajac for her trust, her support , as well as her guidance , and to all members of the Executive Committee for their collegiality and support. Greetings to all UNWLA delegates and guests of the XXXII Convention, and best wishes for a productive, successful convention. May the new leadership of the UNWLA continue to build upon the great work of our predecessors!
