110 ХХ Х І I Конвенція СУА Ukrainian Women in the World: Professionalism, Activism, Tradition.” Both events were sponsored by WFUWO and the International Institute for Education, Culture, and Relations with Ukrainians in the Diaspora (MIOK). This large assemb ly and all the events were dedicated to the 70th anniversary of WFUWO and were held in the Lviv Polytechnic National University. We not only had the opportunity to meet Ukrainian National Women’s League delegates from various countries, but also had meanin gful discussions on issues related to activities within the organization. I would like to express my gratitude to the UNWLA for the opportunity to experience and represent our organization at these most interesting events. Following this remarkable and exc iting trip to Lviv, I had the pleasure of writing and describing our experiences in an article for Our Life published in October 2019. My Our Life contributions have also included an English - language translation of the chronicle of events and proceedings o f the 2017 XXXI Convention in Tampa, FL, compiled in Ukrainian by Larysa Topolya. I also wrote a note published in the same issue of Our Life about the work of the UNWLA Bylaws Committee and the resul ts of the majority vote at the c onvention on proposed by law changes. When we participated in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), I wrote thank you letters to supporters who made or pledged contributions to the UNWLA. This provided our organization with valuable financial support. I managed correspondence on be half of the UNWLA President in response to requests from organizations and individuals for the funding of their projects. I also wrote monthly “Notes from the President” in 2017 that kept our members apprised of various UNWLA activities. As an officer of the Executive Committee, I had the privilege of attending regional and branch events and celebrations where I represented the UNWLA and our Executive Committee. In April 2018, it wa s my pleasure to write congratulatory greetings to Branch 98 on behalf of their 30th anniversary. In September 2018, I was mistress of ceremonies and represented the Executive Committee at the gala 50th anniversary celebration of Branch 96. In November 201 8, I presented congratulatory remarks at the Chicago Regional Council’s “Den’ Soyuz i anky, Our Heroines” program. In November 2019, I presented greetings at the Branch 76 annual Children’s Embroidery Dance. In January 2020, I delivered congratulatory remarks at the 20th anniversary celebration of Branch 124 in St. Petersburg, FL. I participated in various pr ograms and events organized by the Detroit Regional Council and Branch 56 in North Port, FL. In November 2017, I participated in the 85th Commemoration of the Holodomor Genocide at the State Capitol Rotunda in Lansing, MI, organized by members of the Det roit Regional Council at which daughters read the memoirs of their mothers - survivors of the Holodomor. In December 2019, I also visited the Holodomor Exhibit held at the Holocaust Museum in Naples, FL. This exhibit was very impressive and wel l prepared b y Branch 136.
