96 ХХХІ Конвенція СУА • From October 2016, I worked as Executive Board liaison to the Nominating Committee, which consists of eight Regional Council presidents and two Co-Liaisons for Branches-at-Large. Ksenia Rakowska was elected chair of the committee, and Orysia Zinycz was its secretary. We held monthly conference calls discussing the slate of officers for the new National Board for the XXXI UNWLA Convention. All the members of the Nominating Committee worked diligently to iden- tify a new National Board for the next three years. • In November 2016, I assumed responsibility for and became chair of the Publishing Committee for the XXXI UNWLA Convention Book. The members of the Publishing Committee were Oksana Farion, who managed finances efficiently as our treasurer; Mariya Andriyovych, who was a very busy secretary, writing e-mails and letters to dignitar- ies and heads of organizations; and Sophia Hewryk, who oversaw cover design for our Convention Book. Both Lidia Slysh, our Ukrainian editor, and Romana Labrosse, our English editor, did a fabulous job editing reports – and there were many! Ms. Marie Duplak of Computoprint, who was in charge of print- ing our Convention Book, performed to her usual high standards. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of them for their hard work. • As UNWLA representative, I am a member of the Board of Trustees of The Ukrainian Museum in New York. I take an active part in the monthly meetings of the Executive Board and quarterly meetings of the full Board of the Museum. I am also chair of the Personnel Committee and a member of the Finan- cial Committee. It was my privilege and pleasure to serve as First Vice President of the UNWLA, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to President Marianna Zajac for her trust in me, and to send a special thank- you to all the members of the Executive Board and National Board for their support. I wish the delegates to the XXXI UNWLA Convention all the best success in their future endeavor!
