I would like to thank each of the following persons on behalf of all those Ukrainians whose lives have been positively affected by our outreach projects. Ulana Zinych : 1 st Vice President until January 1, 2015. Ulana was a partner since 2008 and always found the time to listen and to advise with her own very clear and distinct perspective. Roma Shuhan : 1 st Vice President from January 1, 2015. Roma agreed to take on the expansive pro- ject of managing the XXXI Convention Commemorative Book. She has been tracking and acknowledging all CFC donations to the UNWLA. Roma, an Honorary Member of the UNWLA, has boundless energy and goes above and beyond her prescribed responsibilities. Chrystia Boyko : 2 nd Vice President for Membership. Chrystia, who is the very backbone of her community in Phoenix, Arizona, has been reaching out to all branches – those struggling and those just getting onto their feet. She has exceptional people skills and is able to guide our membership without exception. Sofia Hewryk : 3 rd Vice President for Cultural Affairs. Sofika’s knowledge and contacts in the Ukrain- ian cultural and art worlds are exceptional and indispensable to the UNWLA. She continues to supervise the Kovaliv Fund’s annual awards, maintain contact with the director of the Women’s Studies Lectureship at the Ukrainian Catholic University, and nourish the Shakespeare concourse at the University of Zaprozzhia. Roksolana Misilo : 4 th Vice President for Public Relations. Roksolana has led many writing cam- paigns to our Washington representatives and very effectively represented our organization at conferences and meetings. She has also written articles and composed UNWLA greetings to the Ukrainian press, and served as the coordinator of our 90 th celebratory banquet. Daria Drozdovska : Secretary. Ms Drozdovska has taken care of official communications, such as Christmas/New Year greetings, celebratory and condolence cards, in a sincere and timely manner – always with a warm smile. Iryna Buczkowska : Recording Secretary. Iryna has taken the minutes and kept records for the UN- WLA Executive Committee since the last Convention and has done an excellent and conscientious job. We are very confident and grateful in the knowledge that we have a dependable recording secretary with a lively sense of humor. Oksana Antonyuk : Treasurer. Ms. Antonyuk has been in charge of all entries into our accounting system, as well as working with our Auditing Firm during our annual audits. She is also in charge of all filings with the IRS and New York State. Vera Kushnir : Financial Secretary. In her position, Vera prepares dues statements, annual budgets, and the filing of a list of active branches to the IRS. Vera also acts as Convention Liaison every three years and guides the acting Convention Committee during the complicated process of planning a 4-day nationwide member gathering. Vera additionally takes care of all logistics for our annual meetings. Mariya Andriyovych : Member at Large. Mariya has made herself available for any impromptu pro- ject at the request of the Executive Committee. In 2015, she was the co-coordinator of the UNWLA 90 th ban- quet. She has taken on the complicated responsibility as the Secretary of the Convention Commemorative Book committee of the XXXI Convention. Oxana Dats : Member at Large (resigned) Oxana spent months gathering testimonials and videos of UNWLA members in the creation of a membership video to interest new persons in joining the UNWLA. This was a monumental task and we sincerely thank her for her efforts and fine end product. We wish her well with her new endeavors. I invite everyone to read all reports in this commemorative book – those of our Standing Committee Chairs, Our Life editors, Chair of the Auditing Committee and our Parliamentarian -- in order to fully under- stand the breadth of our organization’s work and accomplishments. The many efforts through the Regional Councils, through the branches, and through the Branches at Large, together comprise our joint successes! It is my privilege to thank all of you for your commitment and dedication, for your friendship, and for your sup- port! Congratulations!
