Wrote summaries of each Annual National Board Meeting and forwarded to all BAL. Created a condensed history of the UNWLA for use by BAL for education, marketing, PR, and recruitment. Designed schedule and spreadsheets for BAL to track attendance at teleconferences, submission of Annual Branch Reports, Elections, Financial Reports, and ePostcards (IRS 990), and distributed to all BAL. In December 2014, to establish a link between the Executive, BAL presidents, and Board mem- bers, initiated quarterly teleconferences among all BAL. Prepared agenda and chaired teleconferences with BAL presidents, Committee members, 1 st VP of UNWLA, and guests. These teleconferences pro- vided a quarterly connection among BAL where ideas, suggestions, and problems were shared by at- tendees, as were plans for the future. To inform the local non-Ukrainian community about UNWLA accomplishments, attended a lecture (over 400 at- tendees) sponsored by The Sarasota Institute of Lifetime Learn- ing. Nolan Peterson, a foreign correspondent, spoke about “the secret war” in Ukraine. After his presentation, I spoke about UNWLA financial assistance to the wounded Ukrainian soldiers and our sponsorship of the families of fallen soldiers. My article was published in the January 22, 2016, issue of The Ukrainian Weekly . ___________________ With Nolan Peterson To familiarize our members and future members with UNWLA Regions and branch locations, designed a large map showing the location of UNWLA BAL in the U.S. Collaborated with Christine Boyko, VP, to produce this map, which is now available on the UNWLA website.
