I attended the Christening of the New Jersey branch. Christening of New Jersey branch, with Marianna Zajac, President of UNWLA, in attendance Though I have not had the opportunity to visit all the BAL, I have often called and e-mailed presidents to es- tablish open communication. Our conversations have given me a better understanding of the strengths and needs of all our BAL branches. I believe that the BAL presidents know they have my support and can turn to me when they have questions or concerns. 4) COMMUNICATION: Communication among BAL, UNWLA Executive, and National Board When branch presidents had suggestions, ideas, or concerns, I tried to communicate this information to a member of the UNWLA Executive Board. I have worked closely with Christa Boyko and Roma Shuhan. Both Executive Board members participated in all our teleconferences and have an under- standing of our BAL membership. Our UNWLA president, Marianna Zajac, has always been support- ive and helpful when asked for advice and assistance.
