ХХХI Конвенція СУА 169 With BAL Co-Liaison Orysia Zinycz at the 2014 Annual Meeting My personal goal was to strengthen communication among the BAL presidents, and between BAL presidents and the Executive Board in order to unify women and strengthen the UNWLA with a positive and dedicated sisterhood. Below are the responsibilities of a BAL Co-Liaison along with a brief synopsis of the work I have accomplished over the past three years. 1) MEETINGS: UNWLA Annual Meeting I have attended all the UNWLA Annual Meetings, presenting information about our BAL communi- ties to the UNWLA committee members and Executive Board. UNWLA Annual Meeting at Soyuzivka in 2014 2) COMMUNICATION: Communicating with BAL and assisting when necessary One of my personal goals was to build better communication between branch presidents. I have communicated information from the Executive Board to the branches, researched information, and answered questions. I listened to the presidents, focused on specific needs, and offered ideas and suggestions when appropriate. I have stayed in contact with branch presidents via e-mail, phone, and teleconferences. 3) COMMUNICATION: Sharing Successes A tool, or database, called “Sharing Successes” was implemented, enabling the sharing of ideas and activities among branch presidents. With Sharing Successes, branches were able to share their ideas and activities while inspiring others. Branch presidents would send me a synopsis of their branch activities. I compiled this information into the database and sent it to all branch presidents on a quarterly basis. Since there was a very positive response to the Sharing Successes tool, I also shared the mechanics and implementation of this program with branches outside of BAL. COMMUNICATION: Visiting branches I had the opportunity to visit the Naples, Florida, branch and attend one of their meetings. My presen- tation was about the impact and strength women have as UNWLA members. Branch 136 had a beautiful Christening, which members of Branch 124 and I attended.
