142 ХХХІ Конвенція СУА б. Провела зустріч з членками Дітройтської Окружної Управи СУА в грудні 2016 року, на якій подала звіт і головні інформації з Річного засідання Головної Управи СУА, що відбулося в жовтні 2016 року, бо голова Округи Дітройт не могла бути присутня. Бути референткою Вільних членок було великою честю для мене, бо дало нагоду познайомитися з важливою працею нашої організації і з багатьма відданими, пристрасними, працьовитими i цікавими жінками. Я щиро дякую попередній референтці ВЧ Роксоляні Яримович за її поради, розуміння і допомогу. Вільні членки СУА складають важливу частину загального числа членів СУА, і я вважаю, що необхіднo отримувати від них більше ідей та ініціатив, шоб більше інтеґрувати їх в життя СУА. _________________________________________________ OLA MOVCHAN NOVAK MEMBERS-AT-LARGE CHAIR/LIAISON During the June 2014 – December 2016 reporting period, as the Chair/Liaison for UNWLA Members-at- Large (MALs), I completed the following tasks in accordance with the responsibilities of this position per the Job Description: 1. Ensure an up-to-date record of all MALs a. With help from the UNWLA office, I worked on resolving the problem of MALs on member- ship rolls who had lapsed in paying their annual dues by one year or more. The goal was to accurately reflect our true membership while also reaching out to those MALs who were interested in remaining UNWLA members. I contacted or tried to contact the lapsed MALs by various means (telephone, mail, email) and made recommendations to the Executive Board (in accordance with the By-Laws) on the accu- rate listing of MALs. Based on new procedures that ensure we have this accuracy, our membership rolls are at 135 members as of December 2016. b. I wrote three Holiday Circulars to all MALs that were mailed from the UNWLA office in No- vember 2014/2015/2016 along with dues notices that described the main accomplishments of our organi- zation in the past year, along with planned events. c. I wrote letters of welcome to new MALs, informed the UNWLA office of any MAL deaths (to the best of my knowledge) or address changes, and received information from the UNWLA office about similar changes. 2. Attend Annual Board meetings a. I attended the Annual Board meeting on September 19-21, 2014, and presented an 11-page slide show on the status of MALs and plans for the future. b. I attended the Annual Board meeting on October 7-9, 2016, and reported on MAL status for 2015 and 2016. 3. Work closely with heads of Regional Councils and Liaison(s) for Branches-at-Large
