ХХХI Конвенція СУА 105 September 21, 2014 – Christening of UNWLA Whippany Branch – NJ Region. October 5, 2014 – NY Region Den Soyuzianky Commemoration of Our Life magazine’s 70 th an- niversary. March 23, 2015 – teleconference set up by NJ Region President Oxana Datz for new members of NJ Region Branch 137, as an informative orientation on the basic positions and rules of the UN- WLA. Others from the Executive Board and NJ Region also participated. I was also asked to speak about the UM. February 27, 2016 – meeting with UNWLA Branch 1 at UNWLA headquarters in NYC. October 22, 2016 – Christening of Branch 137. UNWLA 90 th Anniversary March 17, 2015 – along with co-chair Executive Board Member-at-Large Mariya Andriyovich and President Marianna Zajac, sent out UNWLA 90 th Anniversary circular #1, informing all that October 2015 is designated UNWLA 90 th Anniversary month and inviting our members to New York City for the October 17-18 weekend for a commemorative banquet on Saturday, October 17, and for the presentation of the exhibition The Ukrainian Diaspora: Women Artists at the Ukrainian Museum on Sunday, October 18. October 17, 2015 – with Mariya Andriyovich, co-chaired the UNWLA 90 th Anniversary banquet at the Ukrainian National Home in NYC. This was a major undertaking, many months in the planning. Invitations, save the date, ads, program, decorations, menu, stage and hall décor, cen- terpieces, customized cake/torte, souvenir 90 th anniversary buttons, and UNWLA logo cupcake favors, as well as MC-ing the event. Represented the UNWLA as 4 th VP at Diaspora Events March, September, November 2015 – Ukrainian Washington, DC, Days. September 25, 2014 – dinner for Ukrainian President Poroshenko (Mr. Yatseniuk came instead). November 3, 2014 – Fashion Show at The Ukrainian Museum hosted by Dr. N. Sergeyeva, wife of the Ukrainian Permanent Representative to the UN, celebrating the launch of her new magazine and Ukraini- an designers. December 1, 2014 – 23 rd International “Health and Environment: Global Partners for Global So- lutions – Our Children’s World” conference organized by World Information Transfer Inc. and co-sponsored by the Government of Ukraine, H.E. Dr. Yuriy Sergeyev – Permanent Representa- tive of Ukraine to the UN, at the United Nations headquarters. January 23, 2015 – Ukrainian Ambassador Mostyk’s Ukrainian Day Unity reception at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington, DC. February 27, 2015 – with UNWLA President Marianna Zajac at the “Cusur Occasional Briefings Series: Taking Measure of Ukraine’s Challenges and Opportunities in 2015” sponsored by Den- tons US LLP in NYC. Featured Speaker was F/D Rada Speaker Andrij Parubiy. February 28, 2015 – with President Marianna Zajac and VP Roma Shuhan at a Town Hall Meet- ing with F/D Rada Speaker Andrij Parubiy at the Ukrainian National Home. March 9-20, 2015 – with President Marianna Zajac at the CSW59 – Commission on the Status of Women – Implementing the Beijing Platform for Action at the United Nations. March 9 – CSW NGO reception. March 10, 8:30 a.m. – “Women in Ukraine and the Right to Peace and Security: Freedom from Violence and Sustainable Development for All,” a Ukraine-organized NGO Forum Parallel Event (WFUWO among co-sponsors). March 10, 11 a.m. – UN Press Conference orga- nized by Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN. March 12, 12:30 p.m. – “One Step Back? ‘Positive Women’ Speak about Beijing and Coping with Challenges to Women’s Health in Times of Conflict” – a WFUWO-organized NGO Forum Parallel Event. March 12 – “Productivity, Well-Being, and Gender Policies,” hosted by the Permanent Mission of Italy to the UN, the Per- manent Mission of Bulgaria to the UN, and the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the UN. June 10, 2015 – Ukrainian Institute reception for In Love magazine, hosted by Dr. Natalia Ser- geyeva, wife of the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN.
