ХХ Х Конвенція СУА 65 Dr . Martha Bohachevsky - Chomia k , H onorary Member of the UNWLA, has been named the official Director of the Lecture- ship while Halyna Teslyuk of the UCU is its coordinator in Ukraine. While in Ukraine in August of 2013, Vi ce President Lidia Bilous and I had the fortune to spend some time wit h both of these leaders of the UNWLA Lectureship. Dr. Martha Bohachevsky - Chomiak presents on the UNWLA Women’s Studies at the WFUWO Annual Meeting. In November of 2013, the newly appointed Rector of UCU, Rev . Dr . Prakh , and former dissident and UCU Vice Rector Myroslav Marynovych visited New York City , and we had a chance to meet with them to discuss the marked progress of and ever - increasing interest in the UNWLA Women’s Studies Lectureship. The UNWLA Endowment Fund for Women’s Studies at UCU has raised the UNWLA’s profile in the academic world in Ukraine. The Lectureship has touched and will continue to touch the lives of many young Ukraini an women (and men) as their understanding of women’s roles evolves through stimu- lating discussions and their futures are enriched with new viewpoints.
