The Executive Board was re presented by Olha Hnateyko. branch 22, Chicago, IL. The Exec utive Board was represented by Maria Savchak. branch 58, Detroit, Ml. 35 years — branch 63, Detroit, Ml. branch 64, New York, NY. The Executive Board was represented by Maria Savchak. 30 years — branch 43, Philadelphia, PA. The Executive Board was re presented by Dr. Iwanna Ratych. branch 54, Wilmington, DE. The Ohio Regional Council marked its 30th jubilee on April 9, 1989. Representing the Executive Board was Olha Hnateyko. The New Jersey Regional Council cele brated its 30th jubilee on October 15, 1989. The Executive Board was represented by Maria Savchak. The president of UNWLA, Maria Savchak has stated that the organization’s efforts to expand its membership have been success ful. Thanks to the work of the vice-president for membership Olha Hnateyko and presi dents of Regional Councils, five new branches were formed: branch 88 in Philadelphia, PA., branch 85 in Chicago, III., branch 98 in Holmdel—Middletown, NJ., branch 115 in Detroit, Mich., and branch 25 in New York, NY. Branch 8 in Cleveland, Ohio and branch 117 in Seattle, WA. were reactivated. Due to the efforts of our branches, 459 young women have joined UNWLA. 50 www.unwla.org
