I belong to the S.U.A. so that I can convene with other young Ukrainian women, and with them enjoy common social and beneficial activities, — I belong to the S.U.A. to work for the betterm ent of Ukrainians both here and abroad — I belong to the S.U.A. to help spread the Ukrainian cause and the Ukrainian language and culture, so that people won’t persist in asking me, “Well, aren't you really Russian ?” — I belong to the S.U.A, to suggest ways and means, and also carry them out, of earning the funds so necessary to undertake al most any project — I belong to the S.U.A. because I am proud that I am American of Ukrainian descent and because the S.U.A. is proud of the fact that it is an American-Ukrainian organization. Amelia Sywulak Bochey, member of Junior Branch 52, Philadelphia. WANTED: MORE TENANTS The House of Soyuz Ukrainok Ameriky (S.U.A.), well-estab lished in the Ukrainian tradition, having expanded over the years, finds itself with room for'ndw tenants, especially of the younger Ukrainian American generation. The House of S.U.A. has been ever-ready to offer proud and dig nified means of carrying the cultural heritage of Ukraine and its peoples of the United States. Ever-mindful of the fact that new times bring new methods, it is the intention of the S.U.A. to open- mindly accept suggestions for the improved furtherance of its ideals and traditions. It is therefore with all sincerity that it invites young Ukrainian girls and women to become members of the proud family of the Soyuz Ukrainok of America, to help -carry on this good work. The invitation offers limitless possibilities for opening new fields of endeavor for personal and group activities. W hether your interest is charity work, Red Cross work, folk dancing or singing, play-acting, home economics, child psychology 01 * any other subject, you will surely find a .room in this House. This is really a House that is run for its tenants, by its tenants. Mildred Milanowicz. 8 — www.unwla.org
