Our Life | Наше життя March | Березень 2021 27 The family of Vasyl Onutchak (right) in the village of Mykulychyn received much-needed supplies to rebuild their home. Shown here with the family is Fr. Bohdan Skirchuk, dean of the Yaremchany deanery. Khrystyna Kostyuk, a mother of four in the village of Mykulychyn (Kolomyya eparchy), received a bunk bed, 2 mattresses, 2 pillows, 2 warm blankets, 2 bedding sets, an electric stove, an electric kettle, and a washing machine. Flooded villages. After western Ukraine was devastated by heavy rains and floods in late June 2020, leaving 14,000 homes damaged and their contents destroyed, UNWLA members donated over $25,000 to help the victims of the disaster. The funds were channeled through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, which has a well-established and reliable aid distribution process in Ukraine.
