Little Havana. Broadway shows and plays. There are also interesting museums: the waterfront Perez Museum of Modern Art, the Lowe Museum at the University of Miami, the Wolfsonian Museum of historical displays of bygone eras. The Wynwood Art District features many galleries, shops, dining spots for families and young people. The Children’s Mu- seum is geared for grade schoolers and their families and provides en- tertaining learning experiences with changing exhibitions. For sports enthusiasts, Miami has the Heat basketball team, the Marlins baseball team, the Dol- phins football team, and the Penguins hockey team. Soon there will be a stadium for a soccer team. Cuban Miami lies in the heart of Little Havana, not far from the Ukrainian Catholic Church, and is a must for visitors. One of the most popular Cuban establishments, the Juego do Palacios, is located right next door to the Ukrainian Catholic Church and offers every Cuban food experience one would want. Pol- iticians looking for the Cuban vote always stop by and have at least a cafecito (small cup of Cuban coffee) or pastelito (small piece of Cuban pastry). As the photos accompanying this article suggest, Miami has many interesting things for a tourist to see and enjoy, whether the visitor is old or young or somewhere in between. The city is dynamic and ever changing, and it is likely that this changeability and variety attracts many tourists. Vira Bodnaruk (Photos by Ann Marie Susla and Oksana Piaseckyj)
