ALL ABOUT INFLUENCE “ The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority. ” - Ken Blanchard “ Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The pote n- tial for greatness lives within each of us. ” - Wilma Rudolph “ It ta kes tremendous discipline to control the influence, the power you have over other people's lives. ” - Clint Eastwood “ Leadership is not about a title or a designation. It's about impact, influence and inspiration. Impact involves getting resul ts, influence is about spreading the passion you have for your work, and you have to inspire teammates and customers. ” - Robin S. Sharma “ Every human being has a work to carry on within, duties to perform abroad, influence to exert, which are peculiarly his, and which no conscience but his own can teach. ” - William Ellery Channing “Few will have the greatness to bend history itself, but each of us can work to change a small portion of events. It is from num- berless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to i m- prove the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a mi l- lion different centers of energy and daring those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.” - Robert F. Kennedy “A life isn't significant except for its impact on other lives.” - Jackie Robinson
