OUR LIFE Monthly, published by Ukrainian National Women’s League of America VOL. L OCTOBER 1993 Editor: Halyna N. Kuzyszyn Halyna N. Kuzyszyn has joined the Editorial Staff of Our Life as an Editor of the English section of our mag azine. Halyna is a native New Yorker, graduated from St. George Academy High School, where she was Year book editor and will graduate with a BS Media Studies degree from Fordham College at Lincoln Center in May 1994. At Fordham she was “Features” editor of the school newspaper “The Observer” for two semesters. She is an active member of Plast since 1979, is on Edi torial Staff of The Plast Way and holds the post of press secretary of New York Plast branch. This summer Hal yna was an editorial intern at “Sassy Magazine,” re sponsible for fact-checking articles, researching stories and generating story ideas for the editorial staff. More recently she became a reporter for “Kontakt” Ukrainian TV magazine, where she researches, formulates, writes and edits segments on news events, profiles, features and community events. WE WELCOME HALYNA TO ‘OUR LIFE’!!! OUR SINCEREST AND HEARTFELT THANK YOU to Marta Baczynsky, English section editor of Our Life for the last twenty years, for being on the Editorial Staff, devoting many hours to translations into English and featuring numerous articles and reports.
