The National Board Ukrainian National Women’s League of America ★ ★ ★ NEWS FROM HEADQUARTERS New York, New Jersey and New England Regional Councils of UNWLA will sponsor a Three Region Conference on the themes: Culture and Education; Museum and Arts The Conference will take place on March 31,1990 at UNWLA headquarters: 108 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10003 Registration: 9 a.m. for two sessions MUSEUM & THE ARTS SESSION OPENS AT 10 A.M. 1. Opening remarks and introduction of speakers: Iryna Rusnak, Museum Chairman of UNWLA 2. Stefania Hnatenko — “Ukrainian Museum — help for Ukraine” 3. Slava Gerulak — “An artistic or non-artistic exhibit” 4. Lubow Wolynetz — “The role of folk and applied art in the education of children and youth” 5. Questions and discussion period. 6. Morning session ends at 1 p.m. CULTURE & EDUCATION CONFERENCE OPENS AT 2 P.M. 1. Opening remarks and introduction of speakers: Lidia Hladky, Vice President, UNWLA, Cultural Chairman. 2. Dr. Oleksander Kysilevskyj-Tkach: “Contempor ary prose in Ukraine.” 3. Dr. Ivan Holovinskyi: “The Ukrainian language as the initial factor in the preservation of national identity.” 4.
