QUESTIONNAIRE UKRAINIAN WOMEN’S CONFERENCE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE What: The Ukrainian Women’s Conference Where: Soyuzivka When: October 2-3, 1982 Why: To enable Ukrainian women to come together for a weekend of discussions on challenges and problems faced by the new generation of Ukrainian women in the U. S. TO HELP US BETTER PLAN A CONFERENCE THAT ADDRESSES YOUR NEEDS AND INTERESTS, PLEASE FILL OUT BOTH SIDES OF THIS QUESTIONNAIRE AND MAIL IT TO US AT THE ADDRESS INDICATED ON THE REVERSE SIDE BY FEBRUARY 28, 1982 SUGGESTED WORKSHOP TOPICS: In spaces provided, please rate these topics from 1 through 14, in the order of interest to you. THE INDIVIDUAL & THE COMMUNITY Are Ukrainian organizations dealing with the needs of singles, single parents or the elderly? .SOCIAL PROCESSES The effects of assimilation on Ukrainian society. Using our strengths to find concrete solutions now. The relationship of Ukrainian women to the national and international women's movement. How we can contribute and benefit. _THE UKRAINIAN SUPERWOMAN Balancing the many roles expected of the Ukrainian woman: mother wife, homemaker, community activist, working woman. _ ACTIVISM Its benefits and drawbacks. HERITAGE Artists talk about the Ukrainian sources/inspiration for their creativity.
